Our pharmacy offers a Minor Ailments service to help you with everything from head colds and coughs to indigestion and insect bites. Don’t wait for an appointment at your local surgery, pop into our pharmacy and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. You can be treated free under the Pharmacy First Scheme.
- Patients must be registered with an NHS Nottingham City GP.
- The scheme treats patients over three months old with no upper age limit.
- Children under three months should always be treated by their doctor.
- The scheme includes all children up to 16 years old.
- Patients should be exempt from prescription charges.
- The patient should always be present at the consultation in the pharmacy.
- Medicines will not be provided for the ‘store cupboard’ or ‘just in case’.
Whilst in most cases the treatment recommended by our Pharmacist will cure your condition it is important that if your symptoms persist you seek further advice from the Pharmacist or GP. If you visit your GP, always let the Doctor know you have been to the Pharmacy and what medication you have been taking.
